Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom state has announced the appointment of the immediate-past Chief of Staff, Government House, Etekamba Umoren, as the secretary to state government.
The governor also appointed Ekerete Udoh as the new spokesperson for the governor was part of the statement. Other appointees are: Edmond Uffang as protocol chief, Daniel Akwatang as special assistant on Religious Affairs and Aniekpeno Mkpanang as permanent secretary, Special Services Department.
