Africa- The Algerian army said on Thursday that it seized over 40 missiles and a number of ground-to-air missiles (SA-7) near the border with Libya on Wednesday.
It said that the weapons were being transported by members of Al- Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) and heading to northern Mali.
It said during the operation, the army managed to arrest two militants, one of whom was seriously injured, while a number of militants fled to neighbouring Libya.
