However, in a recent interview, D'Banj's legal adviser, Ayo Shonaiya declared that all the allegations against D'Banj are false and an attempt to slander the artiste's image.
Shonaiya revealed that it is true that D'Banj has done some businesses with several people and firms, but the allegations of debt and inability to pay for his rent are false.
Shonaiya also mentioned that the Writ of Summons that was reportedly posted at the artiste's residence did not indicate any date, signature, seal, or the name of the judge who endorsed it.
Shonaiya further disclosed that D'Banj's refusal to respond to the allegations was because the stories about the artiste were baseless.
Shonaiya blamed D'Banj's haters for the fake stories flying around the media and said 2015 will be a better year for the artiste.
