The Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, today, directed the management of Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, to work towards achieving 48 hours cargo clearance saying other countries operates 48 hours cargo clearance and Nigeria shouldn't be an exception.
Amaechi gave this directive when he visited the headquarters of the agency in Lagos.
The Minister stated that he had promised President Muhammadu Buhari that he would ensure Nigerian ports achieved 48 hours cargo clearance target.
“I believe in transparency and hard work. We should endeavour to do what people are expecting us to do” he said
