Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s book “Americanah” which is set to be adapted into a movie, has received a major boost with reports that British born Nigerian descent actor, David Oyelowo, and Lupita Nyong’o will feature in the new movie.
According to variety.com, Oyelowo is set to co-star with Lupita Nyong’o in the indie drama “Americanah.”
The movie which will be based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s book will bring the story of a young Nigerian immigrant who had to go through a lifetime of challenges while their relationships endures.
According to variety.com, “Brad Pitt is producing through his Plan B production banner along with Nyong’o and Andrea Calderwood. Plan B produced “Selma,” and after having such a good experience working with them, Oyelowo jumped at the opportunity to board another project they were producing.”
The movie has no production date yet as they are still out in search of a writer and director.
