Chief Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been declared winner of the Anambra governorship elections 2013 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Chief Returning Officer of the election, Prof. James Epoke, , said the APGA candidate scored 180,178 votes, Mr Tony Nwonye of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) scored 97,700 votes, Sen. Chris Ngige of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 95,963, Mr Ifeanyi Ubah of the Labour Party (LP) scored 37,495 while Chief Godwin Ezeemo of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) scored 5,120.
INEC results showed that of the 1,776,167 registered voters in the state, 465,891 people accredited and total vote cast was 442,242, 16,988 votes were voided.
