The All Progressive Congress, APC, has caved in to pressure and agreed to convene a National Executive Council NEC meeting where the decision to hold the party’s second national convention would be taken, National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi has stated.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja, he said a decision was made to ensure that the convention holds not later than April 2017. This decision was taken at a meeting of the National Working Committee NWC of the party held earlier in the week, he added.

The NWC meeting which was chaired by the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has outlined the processes leading to the National Convention which will commence with the Congress to fill vacancies in the State Party structures across the country.
