Politics APC Chieftain: "Let’s Create State Police to Fight Boko Haram"

A one-time governorship candidate in Lagos State, Lanre Razak, has observed that creation of state police will go a long way in solving the Boko Haram menace in the country.

Razak, now a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said if the Federal Government was indeed sincere about putting an end to the senseless killings by the insurgents, it should consider the creation of state police.

He also described as ‘bad politicking’, statement credited to the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that the APC is benefiting from the activities of the insurgents.

“I will like the Federal Government to look at the issue of state police. If we have state police, it will be more effective in monitoring the activities of the Boko Haram insurgents. These Boko Haram people are not angels.
