The All Progressives Congress(APC) chapter in Bebeji local government area of Kano state has expelled Abdulmumin Jibrin, suspended member of the house of representatives.
The Cable reported that Sani Ranka, chairman of the party in the local government, hinged the action on alleged anti-party activities.
Ranka accused the former chairman house committee on appropriations of promoting divisive tendencies.
“The party will not condone indiscipline and disrespect to leaders or duly constituted authority. We hereby inform the world that Jibrin has been expelled from our great party,” he said at a press briefing on Thursday.
Mr. Jibrin had accused Yakubu Dogara, the speaker, and some principal officers of the house of padding the 2016 budget, an allegation which those listed denied, accusation that handed him suspension of 180 legislative days
