The group asked a court to bar Lagos APC from party’s national convention
Despite repeated promises by the leaders of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, that it would not impose candidates into elective positions in the party, allegations of impositions still dogs the party.
A group of party members, known as the New Lagos Movement, has accused a leader of the party and former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, of “unilaterally” altering the results of the recent local government and state congresses by declaring candidates who had lost as winners and also zoning elective positions in states to his preferred area of the state.
