The All Progressives Congress, APC, will seize all South South and South Eastern states from the PDP and APGA, the party's Chairman John Odigie Oyegun has declared.
APC only has Edo and Imo states in the region. The rest are ruled by the PDP while Anambra, is controlled by the APGA.
Mr. Oyegun said the party would come for the Southerners after winning the Edo 2016 governorship elections.
“We are going to bring our brothers in the South East and South-South into our fold after the Edo governorship election,” he declared. "We are already in it, to change it irreversibly from the destructive trajectory into which it was plunged."
He spoke recently during the governorship election campaign of the party in Edo state.
