The National factional Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, on Monday assured Anambra people that the party would not meddle in the administration of Mr Willie Obiano as governor of Anambra.
Umeh gave the assurance in Awka shortly after Obiano and the Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke, were sworn in.
"We did not interfere in Obi's tenure; we did not disturb him and all these contributed to his huge success. We shall provide him the enabling environment; we shall not disturb him as he assumes office to serve the people",he said.
Umeh appealed to the opposition in the state to accept the olive branch already extended to them by the governor.
