Arik Air (W3, Lagos) has deployed its first CRJ-1000, 5N-JEE (cn 19037), into revenue service on flights throughout Nigeria.
Bombardier's CRJ1000 regional jet is the next major step in the evolution of the CRJ Series aircraft family, the world's most successful family of regional aircraft.
Research shows the twinjet, which arrived in-country in June of this year, has been operational on flights out of Lagos to: Benin City, Enugu, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, and Uyo; and also on the following flights out of Abuja to: Enugu, Ibadan, and Kano.
The Nigerian carrier has two more of the type on order from Bombardier (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) though no official date for their delivery has been set.
