Nigeria - A former national chairman of the PDP and his son have come under the radar of the EFCC for collecting some amount of money from embattled ex NSA Sambo Dasuki.

Sambo Dasuki is being investigated over a fraudulent $2bn arms deal perpetrated under the regime of Goodluck Jonathan.

According to Vanguard, EFCC has filed charges against Dr. Haliru Mohammed Bello, and his son, Abbah, for collecting N600 million from Dasuki.

Reports say the anti-graft agency has approached an Abuja Federal judge to press charges against them and that they are likely to be docked on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Abbah Mohammed is alleged to have received N600m from the Office of the NSA (ONSA) in the name of Bam Properties but the reason for the transfer of the money to the company was not disclosed.
