Governor Isa Yuguda has said that the Boko Haram insurgency has forced two million displaced poeple into Bauchi State.
Yuguda was speaking to State House correspondents yesterday shortly after President Goodluck Jonathan met with the parents of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls.
The governor said the crisis had been a major challenge in Bauchi because it is surrounded by all the states having security challenges.Yuguda, who said his government had provided all the refugees with basic facilities needed to survive, however expressed concern that the state’s resources were being overstretched.
