Dare Fasasi popularly known as Baba Dee has been quiet in the music scene for a while now, and so many people are wondering why.

Some observers in the industry have attributed his silence to lack of music sales.

The dance hall artiste recently disclosed to Vanguard News that he doesn’t use sex as propaganda for music sales.

According to Vanguard News report, Baba Dee opined that selling music via sex propaganda happens normally in America and in other countries.

“I for one has never been a propagator of sex as means of selling my music. Even when I do, I try to make it subtle. I don’t think it’s right, I don’t think it’s the best way,” he said in the report.

“I don’t have a right to judge people that are doing it, but I don’t do it. Our camps, Naija Ninjas don’t do it, we have had responsible releases over the years,” the artiste who recently co-produced a film with his brother Sound Sultan declared.

Sex appeal and music seem to be walking hand in hand. Can any dancehall artiste survive without a sexual touch in their music?
