Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been announced as winner of the Ballon d'Or award.

Thus he is FIFA Player of the year for 2015.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the runner up while Neymar brings up the rear.

Neymar had 7% of the vote, Ronaldo had 27%. Messi had 41.33% exactly.
