Sudan President Omar Bashir has arrived in Democratic republic of Congo to participate in a regional free trade summit, sparking calls for his arrest on genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity charges related to atrocities committed in his country's Darfur region.
An Associated Press reporter saw Bashir arrive at the airport in Kinshasa on Tuesday evening, where he was greeted by Congolese Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo.
