Benue state lawmakers on Tuesday ended their session with fist cuffs over an EFCC probe into the purchase of cars worth N750m for them.

As soon as sitting commenced, Honourable Kester Kyenge raised a point of order before the consideration of votes and proceedings of the previous sitting.

The Speaker of the House, Honourable Terkimbi Ikyange, who sensed the danger in the motion raised, ruled Mr Kyenge out of order.

This made PDP lawmakers to call for the removal of all principal officers of the House, which their APC colleagues vehemently rejected on the floor of the house.

Things thereafter degenerated into fistcuffs as both parties hurled abusive words, and punches, at each other.
