Business Blackberry Mercury Android Smartphone to be Launched on Feb 25

BlackBerry Mobile has announced a new phone which will come with a physical keyboard. Dubbed the “Mercury," the new smartphone will debut Feb. 25 at the annual Mobile World Congress trade show.

The new smartphone is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat and sport a 4.5-inch display with an unusual 1080x1620 pixel screen resolution along with 420ppi pixel density.



It's said that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage on the phone is expected to be 32GB while an 18-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies is expected to be in the mix as well.

More details will be revealed about the phone during the Mobile World Congress trade show in February.
