An Abuja Federal High Court on Tuesday granted Senate Majority Leader, Ali Ndume, permission to travel to Saudi Arabia for the lesser Hajj.
Ndume is currently standing trial over alleged involvement in terrorism.
Delivering a short ruling on the Senator’s application, the trial judge, Gabriel Kolawole, ordered the court’s Deputy Chief Registrar (DCR) Litigation, to release Mr. Ndume’s passport and other travel documents to him. The judge also ordered Ndume to return the travel documents to the DCR within 72 hours of his return to the country.
