The Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Ademola Oluseyi Onafowokan, says terrorist group, Boko haram, poses no threat whatsoever to his country.
The fundamentalist Islamist militant group has killed many non-Muslims in Nigeria in the past, through bombings and gun attacks on Christians in Churches.
A recent terrorist attack in Kenya, by another Islamist fundamentalist group, al-Shabab, which resulted in the death of 62 people, including Ghanaian literary figure, Prof. Kofi Awoonor, has raised concerns amongst Ghanaians about the activities of Boko haram in Nigeria and its possible ripples in neighbouring Ghana.
