Policemen attached to Sumaila local government Divisional Police Station yesterday night took to their heels leaving behind their arms and ammunitions, as men suspected to be Boko Haram members stroke the place.
Although, there was no immediate report of death following the almost half an hour exchange of gun fire between the police and the suspected Boko Haram members.
Our correspondent, who was at Sumaila, as the AIG Zone 1, Muhammad Tambari Yabo received and lead the House of Representatives member, representing Takai/Sumaila, Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, to the scene from the airport, observed that the divisional police station was riddled with bullets.
