Chairman of the Northern States Governor’s Forum and Niger state Governor Babangida Aliyu has refuted claims that the activities of the Bokoharam radical Islamic sect is aimed at frustrating the move by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to seek for a second term in office in 2015 saying that the activities of the sect has been there even before he became the Vice President of Nigeria.
Aliyu made this known on Monday at the 2014 National Conference of Directors of Planning, Research and Statistics in the public service held in Minna,Niger state capital
“Bokoharam did not start with the Presidency of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Bokoharam is not to stop Jonathan from contesting the 2015 presidential election”
