Today, Abuja was rife with rumor of an impending bomb attack on Wuse Market. The rumor led to the closing of the market for a couple of hours to enable security operatives carry out a bomb sweep.
According to The Nation, the market was not open till about 10am. Even after the market was open, security operatives remained at the different exit points conducting security checks on people going into the market with bomb detectors.
