Ideye signed for West Bromich Albion for a club record transfer fee of £10million,but couldn't link up with his new club due to visa hitches that he suffered in Nigeria.
The former Dynamo Kiev player complained over the weekend about his travails, fearing that he could miss West Brom's first game of the season against Sunderland.
But Ideye confirmed on Monday evening that his visa issues has been sorted and that he will soon team up with his new club.
"The British High commission called my club to inform them that I have been issued the visa," Ideye told BBC Sport.
"This is a positive news. I'm close to my phone waiting for the call to let me know when it's ready for pick up."
"I would like to thank my club officials and the high commission staff for their effort to get it sorted."
"I've been training here all the while but now my bags are packed and I'm ready to join the team in England."
