The Kaduna Senator said President Muhammadu Buhari has break jinx of decades of negligence by approving the fund for the take off of the Mambilla power project.
Recall that President Muhamamdu Buhari on Wednesday approved a total of $5.792 billion (about N2.096 trillion) for the commencement of work on the 3,050megawatts hydro power project located in Taraba State.
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, said the contract was awarded to a joint venture with the Chinese Civil Engineering Company for the engineering contract including civil and electromechanical works. President Muhammadu Buhari presided over yesterday’s FEC.
