Chief Olisah Metuh, National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of hunting down members of his party ans treating them as prisoners of war.
Metuh, who is also the Chairman of the Kogi State Ward Congress Committee, made the allegations while addressing stakeholders of the party in Lokoja on Tuesday.
Metuh said, ''We are being treated as if we are criminals of war. We are being treated as if we are refugees. We are not afraid, we have faith in our strength, unity, faith in the peace unity and progress of Nigeria''.
''We are not afraid of his probes, intimidation, harassment and arrest of our members. But what we are saying is that if there are going to be arrests, let them be done within the confines of the law''.
''If the ruling party believes that there is anyone who has served in the federal government and is guilty of corruption, they are free to investigate as long as due process and the rule of law is observed. The PDP is not afraid of the intimidation, harassment and arrest of its members but let the probe and arrest be done within the confines of the law''.
