With Buhari's presidency secured, there is an internal shuffle in the APC camp as people are trying to secure their own political appointments.
PUNCH reports that one of the top appointments right now are for the offices of National Security Adviser and Secretary General to the FG.
While APC has discouraged speculation, the PUNCH has gotten wind that the people considered for the position of NSA are: "a former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Abdurrahman Dambazau (retd) and former Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Commassie."
An anonymous APC source has said; “although there are about three people being considered for the post of NSA, Gen. Dambazau, is currently topping the list.
“Commassie, who was Gen. Buhari’s schoolmate and one other retired officer of the SSS whose name I cannot remember now are among those being considered.”
