Former Militant leader, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, has accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of shutting down his Facebook account.
Speaking through his spokesperson, Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro, Asari issued he statement titled “Buhari and APC: Depotism and the Confiscation of Freedom of Expression: Time Bomb Waiting to Explode”; THE GUARDIAN reports.
Ekigbo said the account was disabled after Dokubo Asari began a serialised article on his Facebook page on the gaffes and hypocrisy of President Muhammadu Buhari.
''Although we are not surprised at this junta’s long awaited modus, it remains a sad commentary that we are back to stone age where press freedom is endangered''.
