Even as there are fears that the igbos have been displaced from holding positions among the top four key names in Nigeria's administrative bloc, a firm believer in Chuba Okadigbo, Osita Okechukwu (who is now as staunch a believer in Buhari) has stated that the Buhari government would favor the igbos anyway.
He said that the igbos had what was coming to them in terms of the marginalization in power, because even Chuba Okadigbo had admonished against putting all your eggs in one basket (President Goodluck Jonathan/PDP).
He however said that Buhari's government wouldn't be 'awarding' contracts and that everyone would have to earn their keep under his administration. This, he said, suits the Ndigbo spirit of industriousness.
