Sports CAF to make a decision on Nigeria vs Lesotho AYC qualifiers that was walked over

The Confederation of African Football(CAF) will make a decision over Nigeria's African Youth Championship qualifiers against Lesotho that was not played over the weekend.

Nigeria was scheduled to play the first leg of the qualifiers against Lesotho in Kaduna, but the Southern African country failed to turn up,citing the outbreak of Ebola as the reason why they didn't travel for the game.

Lesotho announced on Friday that they will not be in Nigeria for the match, and they were subsequently walked over on Saturday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

The match commissioner from Benin Republic will file his report to CAF from which a decision is expected to be reached.

Even the centre referee and his assistants, all from Senegal were in Kaduna for the game.

Although the Flying Eagles are still in camp, team secretary Aliyu Auwal Ibrahim stated that they will still be in their training camp in Abuja until a final notice is received from CAF.

Nigeria will qualify for the AYC taking place in Senegal next year,if CAF rules out a return fixture in Maseru.
