Sports CHAN Qualifiers Force LMC To Reschedule NPFL's Week 34 Fixtures

The League Management Company have postponed the Nigeria Professional Football League games scheduled for this Sunday till next Wednesday.

This is information was released via LMC's official twitter handle on Tuesday and it is because some of the clubs have lost their key players to the home based Eagles national team camp, and this might affect their performances at this delicate sstage of the league.

“Match day 34 of the #GloNPFL will now hold on Wednesday, 21st October 2015 and no longer Sunday, 18 October,” the league body announced.

Top clubs like Enyimba, Warri Wolves, Sunshine Stars and Wikki Tourists who are in the hunt to win the title and continental tickets have some of their key players in the Super Eagles home-based side that will take on the Stallions.
Sunshine Stars have the largest number of players in the team with six of their regular stars in the squad.

The Eagles will take on the Stallions at the Adokiye Amiesieamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Nigeria won bronze at the last edition of the competition in South Africa last year. Completesport
