Chelsea's top scorer Diego Costa lost a penalty against Liverpool in a crucial premier league clash.
Both sides had a goal each and Liverpool had all the possession in a tension soaked match. Things weren't looking that good for Chelsea until Diego Costa was fouled in the 18 yard box.
He stood up, took the resulting penalty and failed to bury it in the back of the net, to the dismay of many Chelsea fans. If Chelsea won they'd be 12 points clear at the top of the table, with Tottenham and Arsenal dropping points.
Speaking about the penalty after the game, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said:
"It's pity Diego Costa missed the penalty because he played very well. We had different chances to score goals, but we must be happy with the result and the performance because it is not easy to play away at Liverpool."
