Former information minister Chief Edwin Clark has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to appoint military administrators for Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states which are currently under emergency rule due to activities of Boko Haram insurgents.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja yesterday entitled “this nonsense must stop now,” Chief Clark also called on President Jonathan to declare an extended the state of emergency in the three states.

Clark, a former Senator said the conditions and circumstances that precipitated the declaration of the state of emergency in 2013 were still prevalent in the three and in greater scale and ferocity.
