Politics Court Orders Permanent Forfeiture of N7.7bn Linked to Diezani

The Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos State, on Monday morning, ordered the permanent forfeiture of alleged money linked to a former Minister on Petroleum Resources under President Goodluck Jonathan, Diezani Alison-Madueke, N7, 646 , 7 00, 000. 00 to Federal Government.

Justice Abdulaziz Anka delivered the ruling in Lagos on Monday.

The money was allegedly traced to a commercial bank.

Can't the govt invite or extradite Ma'am Agama for all these humongous assets in discovery.
But it is like the EFCC is more interested in assets recovery or busting the games because of the division between it and AGF.

I would not use the word smart. Her actions and the actions of all the pen robbers actually cost lives. Nigeria has woeful health, education and security systems. Infant mortality and maternal mortality rates are shocking. Not blaming madam alone but would be a mistake to look at this and all the other looting as victimless crimes.

EFCC are more interested in announcing asset recovery. Every Nigerian government for as long as I can remember has been reviewing assets, even oga Abacha went on an anti corruption purge and appointed his good mate Buhari to head the PTF.

Change has not come yet. But it will eventually.
