Wife of former president of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan, has written an emotional farewell message to late Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, during a visit to the home of the deceased on Tuesday.
Commiserating with the bereaved family, Dame patience said she was still in shock over the death of the former Bayelsa state governor, calling him "daddy".
“Daddy, on behalf of my husband, former President Goodluck Jonathan and the entire family members, we mourn you so dearly," she wrote in the condolence register.
“We are in shock and our hearts are full of pains. Though we cannot question God, we are saying goodbye. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.” she added.
