The House of Representatives has commenced investigations into the CBN over the management of Nigeria’s foreign reserve accounts.
Honourable Abdulssamad Dasuki in a motion he sponsored at the lower chamber on Wednesday pointed out that the accruals from the accounts had not been openly declared by the CBN.
Following this, the House unanimously mandated its committee on finance to investigate the running of the Foreign Reserve Accounts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the interest that had accrued to the country in the past four years.
