The Senate President, Sen. David Mark, would today lead 21 other senators to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan on the recent abduction of 234 girls by insurgents in Chibok, Borno.
Mark, who made the announcement during Wednesday’s plenary, said the meeting was aimed at finding ways to rescue the affected girls and end insurgency in the nation.
He said the meeting, slated for 10 p.m., would hold at the Aso Rock Villa.
The Senate had on Tuesday resolved to ask the Federal Government to intensify efforts to secure immediate rescue of the abducted female students.
