Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, National Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said that five PDP governors who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) will return to the party. He said said the defecting governors were wrong in their timing, stressing that they would regret their actions before long.
Tukur made the statement during a courtesy visit by the party' s stakeholder in Sokoto. The PDP chieftain who spoke at length also said that the party would not miss the defecting governors.
Tukur said, "No fear no shaking, people can defect. It is their right but soon they will find out that it is that cold place that they were when they were brought into PDP.
"Many had left in the past and today, they are back in the party".
He further assured the Sokoto delegation of President Goodluck Jonathan's support.
