Nigeria - One of the leading vodka from the stables of Diageo Brands Nigeria, Smirnoff, has launched its new variant, Smirnoff Ice Double Black with Guarana amidst fun and fan fare.
The launch tagged Double Side witnessed a large turnout of fun lovers as they were welcomed to an unconventional venue for the party- a thriving auto workshop turned into a party venue, DAILY INDEPENDENT reports.
Smirnoff Ice Guarana is an offering that combines refreshing and invigorating taste of Smirnoff Vodka blended with Soda and extracts of Guarana. It joins the existing Smirnoff family of Smirnoff Vodka and Smirnoff Ice Red.
Unveiling the brand, the Head of Marketing, Spirits and RTD, Liz Ashdown said the parent company is driven by innovation hence the need to support products that meet more of their consumers' needs and occasions.
Asked if there is a possibility of the new variant putting sales pressure on the existing variants, Ashdown explained that "we have provided consumers with greater choice and with a drink that is more relevant for higher tempo occasions than many other offerings in the market".
