Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare continued with her impressive feat of flying the country's flag, placing second in her 200m event at the Diamond League meet on Saturday.

Fresh from last weekend's World Relays in Bahamas where she led the Nigeria 4x100m relay team to finish fourth,Okagbare registered a good run to place second in Eugene.

In a line up that is stashed with an embarrassment of talents, the surprise win of the night came from Torie Bowie who finished with a time of 22.18secs,with Okagbare trailing in second and USA's Allyson Felix finishing third in the race.

The Nigerian athlete finished with a personal best of 22.23seconds ,crossing the line even before the World Champion Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce,and also African compatriot,Murielle Ahoure.

Meanwhile in the men's 100m event,America's Justin Gatlin claimed the race with a windy 9.77m
