The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is set to suspend about 100 of its officers for their role in a N23bn bribe offered by ex Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison Madueke during the 2015 elections, The Punch says.

INEC received a report from the EFCC which was investigating the matter.

Those found culpable will be suspended before the end of January, an INEC official said.
