Politics Diezani Loses Bid to become OPEC Sec Gen -Nigerian Tribune

THE ambition of Nigeria and Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, to become the Secretary General of the influential Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) was dashed on Wednesday.

This followed the decision of the members of OPEC to extend the tenure of the incumbent Secretary General, Abdullah al-Badri.

The tenure of al-Badri was extended till June 30, 2015.

How could she ever thought she would win when they are not blind...... She's got how many indictments in how many years and she thought to herself that those things won't catch with her..... She should find our from Ibori, the Nigerian judiciary could not find him guilty but the London system nailed him. If she felt she could take others for a ride the way she's been taking Nigerians fora ride, it won't work and God bless Nigeria
