Nigeria - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, was absent at the meeting convened last night by President Muhammadu Buhari to resolve the crisis in the chamber.
According to DAILY TRUST, the Special Adviser to the Speaker on Media and Public Affairs, Hassan Turaki, said his boss did not receive any invitation for the meeting.
Only Femi Gbajabiamila’s faction attended the meeting which took place at the First Lady Conference Room of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Gbajabiamila led some members of his faction into the meeting which started around 9.38pm.
