A bomb blast was averted in a church in Owerri, Imo States.
The police on Monday said it has started investigation into Sunday’s foiled explosion at a Church in Owerri. It also advised the public not to link the bomb to any established terror group yet.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, made the disclosure at a joint news conference organised by the National Information Centre, Abuja.
Mr. Mba, however, advised members of the public not to hurriedly link the incident to terrorism.
“The media and the citizens should not be in a hurry to link the Owerri incident to established terror cell until the full identity of those behind it are known to security forces.
