There was mild drama shortly before the All Progressives Congress, APC, national caucus meeting started on Monday, as state governors were scrambling for handshakes with the newly appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
President Muhammadu Buhari announced the appointment of Boss Mustapha to replace sacked Babachir Lawal who was involved in North-east contract scam.
The meeting was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the new Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja.
The meeting is a prelude to the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party billed for the party secretariat today.
Party Chairman John Odigie-Oyegun, Senate President Bukola Saraki, House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara and some lawmakers also attended.
