A passenger on the Indonesia-bound plane attempted to enter the cockpit of a Virgin Airline Boeing 737 aircraft flying from Australia to Indonesia. The man has now been arrested in Bali.
The pilot of the aircraft reported the hijack, stating that an unruly passenger had repeatedly banged on the reinforced doors of the cockpit of the aircraft. The aircraft had several tourists onboard from Brisbane in Australia to Bali in Indonesia made a safe landing in Bali.
Indonesia’s police have detained the passenger for further investigation. It has been revealed, meanwhile that the passenger was drunk.
