Echiejile was replaced in Nigeria's last friendly game against Greece, after he got injured in the match played in Philadephia on Tuesday.
After ascertaining the extent of the injury, it is understood that the Nigerian officials were not ready to take chances on the Monaco left back.
In his place,Rangers forward #EjikeUzoenyi,who was dropped on Monday has been drafted in to replace him in the 23-man team.

Echiejile was said to have suffered a muscle tear and the injury will keep him out for more than three weeks.
