Since after the "go and die" outburst by the Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, the Edo state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has made it their duty to put a smile on widows faces. Yesterday donated two sets of wheel chairs,N100,000 cash and two bags of rice to a 34-year-old widow,Mrs. Juliet Oni.
The PDP also engaged the services of a doctor to help care for the Mrs Oni's wound. The widow who is a mother of one was bedridden due to a grievous sore on her leg.
During the presentation, Edo PDP chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, called on government and other individuals to come to the aid of the less privileged in society. The PDP Chieftain also urged banks to relax their interest rates.
Mrs Oni was elated by the PDP's kind gesture, she described it as an act of God.
